Fire Rated Door - Specification Sheet

Conforms to IS 3614 (Part 2) 1992 and BS476 (Part 20 and 22).

Door Construction

• Door frames (conform to IS 4351:2003) and leaves are made from skin-pass galvanized iron sheet (conform to IS 277).
• Door leaves are constructed from 0.8 mm (22 SWG) skin-pass galvanized sheet to provide 46 mm thick fully flush double-skin shell with lock seam joints at stile edges.
• Core material uses specially designed fire-rated honey comb kraft paper/insulation with reinforcements at top, bottom, and stile surrounds.
• Frame is constructed from 100 mm (18 SWG) skin-pass galvanized iron sheet formed to double rebate profile size 143 x 57 mm / 100 x 57 mm (+/-0.3 mm) with max bending radius 1.4 mm.

Vision Glass and Finish

• Fire-rated vision glass single glazed with 6/8/10/12/13 mm clear or wired glass can be provided in standard dimensions 200 x 300 mm / 300 x 300 mm.
• Door frames and shutters are primed with zinc-phosphate stoving primer.
• Finish options include polyurethane aliphatic grade, epoxy paint, epoxy polyester, pure polyester, and polyurethane powder coating.
• Powder coating thickness: 50-65 microns (dry film thickness).

Single leaf / equal leaf / un-equal leaf door configuration.
